I tracked this guy througout New England, New York and Montreal through most of the 90’s. I was WILD for the guy- Loved him crazy, Named my Cat “Lore” (went with my Pagan schtick at the time) after seeing him in New Hampshire.

I never got as close as a handshake- not for lack of trying! But my Favorite memory was dressing up for a Convention in New York to maybe get his attention.

Somehow he ALWAYS points me out at these things. The Romulan in Montreal, the Pakled-Chic Android in NH- practically always!

This time. I was watching him, He’s hillarious, I usually feel elated just being in his presence- but I was exhausted getting up there from RI, my Family insisting on checking all the sites around the hotel…

Anyway. He does okay with his hour or so of Q&A, I had no idea he noticed me, I was in a torn Karate gee and a ruffled skirt over a purple turtle neck. Just as he’s wrapping up, I guess he saw me a little bemused, he points to me and goes “Hey, I know you, You’re ‘Lal!’”

I don’t remember how I reacted (don’t know if it was the most polite I could have pulled!) But I’ll never forget how he always seems to point me out!

I haven’t seen him in a while and I would love him to point me out again, if ever again we meet.

I just love how upbeat and honest she is about everything! She’s handed me the “Flashlight through my dark places.” and I love her for it!
